Find the Bali Yoga Teacher Training That Fits Your Life
Travelling to Bali for three weeks is an incredible opportunity, but it is not possible for everyone. That is why our 200-hour yoga teacher training is available through three different learning formats.
The shorter options combine guided online study with intensive practical training in Bali. The 21-day option allows you to complete the full training through an extended in-person immersion.
7-Day Bali Yoga Teacher Training
A focused Bali intensive supported by online study
Complete the academic and foundational components online, then travel to Bali for seven days of concentrated practical training.
The in-person portion focuses on teaching practice, posture workshops, sequencing, cueing, feedback and integrating what you learned online.
Best for:
- Students with limited travel time
- Independent learners
- Students comfortable completing theory online
- Practitioners primarily seeking hands-on teaching experience in Bali

14-Day Bali Yoga Teacher Training
A balanced combination of online learning and in-person immersion
The 14-day pathway provides more time in Bali while retaining the flexibility of online study.
You will have additional opportunities to practise teaching, receive feedback, explore yoga beyond the postures and become part of a supportive training community.
Best for:
- Students wanting a deeper Bali experience
- Learners who prefer a combination of online and in-person education
- Aspiring teachers seeking more supervised teaching practice
- Students wanting time for both focused study and personal reflection

21-Day Bali Yoga Teacher Training
Our most complete in-person yoga immersion
Spend three weeks studying, practising and teaching yoga in Bali.
This pathway provides the greatest amount of face-to-face instruction, daily community experience and direct support from your trainers. It is designed for students who want to step away from their regular routine and fully concentrate on their development.
Best for:
- Students wanting a complete yoga immersion
- Aspiring professional yoga teachers
- Practitioners who learn best through direct instruction
- Students seeking the strongest sense of community and shared experience

More Than a Yoga Retreat
A yoga teacher training should be enjoyable and personally meaningful, but its purpose is also to prepare you to teach.
You will not graduate simply because you attended classes and completed a certain number of hours. You will gradually learn how to take what you know and communicate it effectively to another person.
Throughout your training, you will work on the practical skills that new yoga teachers often find most challenging:
- Giving clear and understandable instructions
- Creating safe and purposeful class sequences
- Demonstrating postures without relying entirely on demonstrations
- Observing students and responding appropriately
- Adapting poses for different bodies and experience levels
- Managing timing, transitions and the overall flow of a class
- Speaking confidently in front of a group
- Developing your own authentic teaching style
Our goal is not to produce teachers who repeat a memorized script. Our goal is to help you understand what you are teaching, why you are teaching it and how to communicate it clearly.
What You Will Study
Your 200-hour yoga teacher training provides a broad foundation in the physical practice, philosophy and professional skills involved in teaching yoga.
Asana and Alignment
Explore foundational yoga postures, common alignment principles, modifications, variations and the relationship between poses.
You will learn to observe movement rather than trying to force every student into one supposedly perfect shape.
Teaching Methodology
Learn how to organize a class, introduce a theme, provide instructions, manage transitions and guide students through a complete practice.
Teaching methodology connects your personal knowledge of yoga with your ability to lead other people.
Sequencing
Study how individual postures can be arranged into safe, balanced and purposeful sequences.
You will practise developing classes for different levels, intentions and durations rather than depending permanently on prewritten sequences.
Anatomy and Movement
Develop a practical understanding of the body as it relates to yoga.
The objective is not to turn you into a medical professional. It is to help you make more informed teaching choices and understand why different students may experience the same posture differently.
Yoga Philosophy and History
Explore the historical and philosophical foundations of yoga and consider how they can inform a modern practice.
You will be encouraged to examine these teachings thoughtfully rather than simply memorizing terminology.
Pranayama and Meditation
Experience introductory breathing and meditation practices and learn how to guide them responsibly.
You will also consider when these practices may or may not be appropriate for a particular class or student.
Professional Development
Learn about the practical realities of beginning work as a yoga teacher, including class planning, communication, professional boundaries and continuing education.
Learn by Actually Teaching
Teaching confidence does not come from listening to lectures alone.
You develop it by standing in front of people, giving instructions, making mistakes, receiving useful feedback and trying again.
Practice teaching is therefore an essential part of every Bali YTT pathway.
Depending on your chosen format, you will complete a combination of:
- Partner teaching exercises
- Small-group instruction
- Cueing and demonstration practice
- Short teaching assignments
- Sequencing workshops
- Constructive trainer feedback
- A final practical teaching assessment
The purpose of assessment is not to create unnecessary pressure. It is to confirm that you can apply what you have learned and guide a class safely and coherently.
Who Is This Training For?
Our 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali is open to students from different backgrounds, ages and levels of experience.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Want to become a certified yoga teacher
- Already teach informally but want structured training
- Want to deepen your practice without necessarily teaching professionally
- Are interested in the physical, philosophical and reflective aspects of yoga
- Want practical instruction rather than a retreat presented as teacher training
- Are willing to participate, practise teaching and receive feedback
You do not need to perform advanced postures or have a particular body type.
However, teacher training is intensive. Students should arrive with a consistent personal practice, a genuine interest in learning and a willingness to take responsibility for their participation.
Why Complete Yoga Teacher Training in Bali?
Travelling away from your normal environment creates space to concentrate on something that can otherwise be pushed aside by everyday responsibilities.
During your time in Bali, your schedule centres on learning, physical practice, reflection and connection with your training community.
The experience gives you an opportunity to:
- Establish a consistent daily practice
- Study without your normal distractions
- Meet students from different countries and backgrounds
- Experience yoga within a dedicated learning environment
- Reflect on how you want yoga to fit into your life
- Build friendships and professional connections
- Develop confidence through repeated practical experience
Bali provides the setting. The structure of the training, the quality of the education and your own participation create the result.
A Supportive but Serious Learning Environment
You should feel supported during teacher training, but support does not mean avoiding challenges.
Learning to teach requires participation, preparation and a willingness to receive feedback. Our trainers aim to create an environment in which students can ask questions, experiment and improve without being embarrassed for not already knowing everything.
You will be encouraged to develop your own voice rather than imitate the personality or teaching style of one instructor.
The objective is to help you become a thoughtful, adaptable teacher—not a copy of your trainer.

After completing all required online and in-person components, assignments and assessments, successful graduates receive a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a complete 200-hour yoga teacher training?
Yes. Each pathway is designed to meet the program’s 200-hour completion requirements. Shorter Bali immersions include additional guided online coursework. Students must complete every required component before receiving the full certificate.
Can beginners join?
You do not need advanced poses or previous teaching experience. However, students should ideally have an established personal yoga practice before beginning an intensive teacher training.
Do I have to become a yoga teacher?
No. Some students enrol primarily to deepen their understanding and personal practice. You will still be expected to participate in teaching exercises because learning to communicate yoga is a central part of the program.
What is the difference between the three durations?
The primary difference is how the training hours are divided between online study and in-person training in Bali. Longer formats provide more direct instruction, community time and supervised practical experience.
Is accommodation included?
[INSERT YOUR GENERAL ACCOMMODATION POLICY.] Exact room choices and inclusions are listed on each program page.
What styles of yoga will I study?
[INSERT YOUR PRIMARY STYLES.] The curriculum also includes teaching methodology, sequencing, anatomy, philosophy, pranayama, meditation and practical teaching experience.
Will I be ready to teach after graduating?
The program is designed to give you a strong entry-level teaching foundation. Confidence develops differently for every graduate and continues growing through personal practice, teaching experience and further education.
How do I choose between 7, 14 and 21 days?
Choose based on your available travel time, preferred learning environment and desired level of immersion. The 7-day pathway requires more independent online learning. The 21-day pathway provides the greatest amount of in-person training and community experience.
What happens after I apply?
Our admissions team will review your application and contact you with the next steps, including availability, payment information, preparatory work and travel guidance.
